…Look. I’m not one of those people who likes to send angry emails on a regular basis. In fact I never send them at all. But seriously, I’m pretty upset about the email I just received basically telling me if I’m someone’s girlfriend, I should be getting flowers instead of a video game. 

Really? It’s like that? No wonder no one is using flying cars yet, we’re still stereotyping women in 2012. I realize it’s just being cute and not purposefully trying to offend anyone, but I’m letting you know that it is. I PAY to support this company, and this is treatment that females are given. No special perks for us on Valentine’s Day. We get wimpy flowers that will die in two days, while the boys in our lives can take advantage of a get-out-of-jail-free card with money off to buy plants. If he has to be inspired by a discount to buy me flowers, then I don’t want him as a boyfriend. I’m pretty sure a lot of girls have already planned to spend their Valentine’s Day snuggled up playing the Mass Effect 3 Demo instead. 

I’m surprised that almost all of your media contacts are women. Did you not have a say in this advertisement at all? 

I do apologize for being so harsh, but I don’t think any girl deserves this.
